The Young Women in our ward are involved in a service project called the Love Scarf Project. The Love Scarf Project provides knitted scarves for cancer victims who are undergoing therapy and require a little extra warmth during their hospital visits. We taught the girls how to knit in January and they set a goal of 100 scarves! Today, the young women have knitted 48. We would like to make our delivery at Christmas time. We would love to receive contributions from the Relief Society sisters. Please give your scarves to Lisa Anderson. Thank you so much!Monday, September 7, 2009

Could someone loan me some yarn and needles? I have mine all packed up in the hopes of moving. I'd have to pick it up, we aren't taking the Talli to Church until we know there is no H1N1 in the ward.

There are no rules...just soft!
